Facilitation for collectives
I support self-managed collectives in clarifying their governance, strengthening their cooperation, and moving forward together toward a shared vision.
My goal: to help groups collaborate more smoothly and joyfully, while relying on a clear and supportive structure.

Who is it for?
Cohousing projects, eco-communities, small organizations, cooperatives, and other collectives looking for:
- Aligned vision (clarity of intention, a unifying purpose, shared values)
- Shared governance (distribution of power, roles and responsibilities, circles, decision-making, meeting formats)
- Relational harmony (living well together, managing human tensions, communication, emotional work)
Why?
Doing things together in an alternative paradigm is a fascinating human adventure. Unlike conventional models, these approaches offer inspiring ways to collaborate, make decisions, and create — putting people and common sense back at the center. More details in images:

Tools & Methods
My approach combines proven frameworks (Holacracy, Sociocracy, Gouvernance Partagée) with tailor-made tools that meet each organization’s needs:
- Decision-making: consent-based group decisions, advice process, iterative approaches.
- Relational dynamics: handling interpersonal tensions, nonviolent communication, space holding, collective intelligence.
- Meeting facilitation: pedagogy, process holding, meta perspective, service posture, reframing, reading the group’s energy, managing speaking turns, constant adaptation.
- Education & transmission: graphic facilitation, visual metaphors, learning by doing.
- Inner work: personal development, deconstructing limiting patterns, systemic vision.

My background as a facilitator
I’ve been supporting the transformation of collectives for several years.
As a former consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), I first facilitated Agile transformations in large international corporations before choosing to redirect my skills toward smaller groups committed to social, environmental, and inner transition.
I then joined the Ceebios cooperative, where I experienced the shift to shared governance from the inside and took on the role of lead facilitator and internal trainer for 4 years.
Trained among others by the French Université du Nous (UdN), I cultivate an approach that’s both structured and sensitive, pragmatic and creative.
I’m also actively involved in facilitating men’s circles within the Mankind Project, whose tools for personal development and emotional work enrich my support of collectives in transition.
How to work with me (long formats)
So you would like me to support your organization? I mainly offer multi-day, on-site facilitation programs. Here’s how it works:
- Link: you identify one person in your collective who will be the point of contact with me for pre-session discussions.
- Call: we start with a short free call (max 1 h) to get to know each other, clarify your needs, and identify the right approach.
- Quote: my prices depend on your means. Based on my price grid, we identify your pricing level, and I send you a quote.
- Facilitation: once everything’s agreed, we’re ready to go!
A typical facilitation day:
07:30 – 08:30 (1 h) → Morning practice (led by a member of the collective, e.g. yoga, walk)
08:30 – 09:00 (30 min) → Breakfast
09:00 – 12:00 (3 h) → Morning session (facilitated by Tom)
12:00 – 13:00 (1 h) → Community activity (led by a member, e.g. cleaning, harvesting)
13:00 – 14:00 (1 h) → Lunch
14:30 – 17:30 (3 h) → Afternoon session (facilitated by Tom)
18:00 – 19:00 (1 h) → Dinner
19:30 – 21:00 (1.5 h) → Evening teachings + Q&A (facilitated by Tom)
Note: Before coming on site, I like to send a short diagnostic questionnaire to quickly assess where the collective stands in terms of purpose, structure, and posture. Based on that, we co-design the week’s program together.
Follow-up & shorter formats
After a longer engagement (a few days together), I offer à-la-carte follow-up — often online — depending on your needs:
- Individual coaching / supervision: especially for facilitation roles within the collective, to help build confidence and skills (e.g. meeting prep, debriefing, tips, specific trainings such as “consent-based decision process”).
- Group Q&A: gather your questions and we’ll do a video call to go through them.
I can also facilitate one-off sessions (for example a key meeting or decision-making process), though I usually reserve this for groups I’ve already worked with on foundations or that are already well-versed in shared governance — simply ask me if you’re unsure!
